Final Event in Vienna (AT) – August 28th and 29th, 2017

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to attend the COST MP1301 Final Event “Patient-specific bone tissue engineering – An ambitious goal requiring a „holistic“ approach” that will be organized in Vienna University of Technology, Gußhausstraße 25-27, 1040 Vienna, Austria from 28th to 29th August 2017.

This  final meeting of NEWGEN aims at revisiting the scientific goals pursued during the past four years. Thereby, particular emphasis will be on the very core of the project, that is the development, design, and processing of new, patient-specific (or, customized) implants for bone tissue engineering.

While contributions from all related fields are welcome, references to the novel aspects of the contribution (with respect to the state of art at and before the start of NEWGEN), as well as to the goal of patient-specificity are desirable. Both oral and poster presentations are envisaged.

The meeting will be organised on a full day on Monday 28th August and, depending on the number of presentations, and on a half day (morning only) or full day on Tuesday 29th August.

I draw your attention on the following facts:

  • The registration form (see here : Registration form) must be filled in and sent to mp1301@bcrc.be
