Bone-Tec 2017 – Munich (DE) – 12-14 October 2017

Dear Partners,

We are pleased to inform you about the conference Bone-Tec in Munich (DE) next October 12-14.
The conference is organized by the Technical University of Munich
Further information or www.bone-tec.com

Message from Prof. M. Van Griensven (Chair of the Conference, and partner in NEWGEN) :

“Bone and the adjacent structures are fascinating tissues for many different disciplines. The bone-tec conference is bringing all these disciplines together since 2008. The beauty of bone-tec is that both clinicians and scientists are discussing together and presenting their views on bone engineering and engineering of the concomitant structures such cartilage, ligament, tendon, gingiva etc.
The first conferences of bone-tec were held in Hannover, the working place
of Dr. Karl-Heinz Schuckert, the initiator of bone-tec. In 2013, bone-tec was hosted in Singapore (Prof. Teoh) and in 2015 in Stuttgart (Prof. Schenke-Layland).
Munich will be the host for the 2017 bone-tec conference. We plan to make again an exciting program that brings scientists and clinicians together. Cutting edge state-of-the-art translational and basic science will be presented alongside clinical studies. This will partly be presented by invited speakers from all over the world. However, we also count on your contributions. Abstracts will be scored and chosen for oral or poster presentations.

Besides the science, Munich also offers a great venue for the hours outside the conference. Munich has a roaring night-life and it is worth coming earlier or stay longer to see much of a rich cultural heritage, do shopping or go to the mountains, which are nearby. Munich can be easily reached from all over the world by plane and subsequent suburban train. In Munich itself, the underground, tram and bus network connects all important points, hotels and the conference venue. The conference venue will be at the „Wappenhalle”.

We will keep you updated on important dates for symposium submission, abstract submission, registration deadlines etc. We hope to welcome you in Munich for
bone-tec 2017 from October 12th to 14th.

Save the date and hope to see you in Munich!

With my best regards

Martijn van Griensven
Conference chair bone-tec 2017”

13. MCM 2017 – Rovinj (HR) – 24-29 September 2017

Dear members of COST action MP 1301 NEWGEN,

As a member of our COST Action, on behalf of Croatian Microscopy Society I would like to announce that we are organizing the 13th Multinational Congress on Microscopy (13.MCM http://mcm2017.irb.hr/) in Rovinj (at Croatian seaside, peninsula Istria) on September 24-29th. This 13. MCM is approved with European Extension.

This congress covers usage of all kind of microscopy in life science, material science and also includes sections about instrumentation.

MCM2017 comes in succession of twelve regional meetings jointly organized so far by our sister societies; from the first one in Parma, to the most recent one in Eger. That means, our MCM has already a long tradition.

We, the Croatian Microscopy Society, will host the forthcoming meeting this September, and we are cordially inviting you to participate, to attend, and … to enjoy in all aspects of such an event: the scientific program and discussions with fellow microscopists from all over Europe, the commercial exhibition, the natural beauty and the cultural heritage of Rovinj, Istria and Croatia.

We are inviting you to take all necessary steps as soon as possible: visit our web-page, inspect the scientific program, choose your field of interest, fill the registration form, and submit the abstract.

The deadline for abstract submission is May 15th.

We are gladly looking forward to see you in Rovinj this September!

On behalf of the 13.MCM Local Organizing Committee and co-chairs Igor Weber,

Andreja Gajovic
(President of Croatian Microscopy Society)
